Goodness. Where to start. In 2009 we saw a tiny little character shop with a sign in the window saying for rent. It was cheap, we were poor after travelling Western Australia for a bit. The area was still up and coming. There wasn’t much else going on. So we went for it and spent YEARS building the Goat community into what it is now. A special place. Awesome coffee. Great food. Incredible banter and just the loveliest bunch of people. If you’re reading this, then you’ve found us too. Welcome. Be GOAT.

Our founder, Colin aka Daddy Goat, during this time got involved with some very clever and wise people and with his creativity and love of coffee opened 7 more stores over a period under a different brand name and once done, he exited and came home to the Goat: his spiritual home and his one true love. Oh and his dog, Indie.

In February 2024 we opened G2. Goat2. Wareham. A stunning market town and the gateway to the incredible Purbecks. With a bit more seating and a sunny spot in the mornings we’re doing our thing! Since opening we’ve been super busy and have felt fully embraced by the town. We love it there and we’re sure you will too. With Saturday farmers markets, a huge forest close by, some of the best walking and riding in the country and a river running through it, we knew proper coffee was needed. And we’ve delivered - Goat style.
